01 About

A bridge between tradition and sports science.

Physical education in most schools is an afterthought — a free period with a ball. I’ve spent my career proving it can be a discipline: assessed, evidence-based, and woven into how a child learns everything else.

My work connects traditional knowledge systems like Yoga with modern sports science — from STEAM-based PE curricula and fitness report cards to Elite Trainer Programs for teachers. As Founder & Managing Director of Sportal Corporate Pvt. Ltd., I lead NEP 2020-aligned programmes that bring structure, assessment and innovation into school environments.

Alongside building ventures, I serve as Emeritus Resource Faculty at Rashtriya Raksha University, shaping national curriculum and policy in physical education and defence wellness, after twelve years as Associate Professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. Through the Devbhumi Sportal Foundation, I work on teacher development and grassroots access to quality PE.

Consulting for institutions.

For universities, colleges and school networks building or reimagining physical education and sports science. I partner with leadership to design programmes that are academically rigorous, regulation-ready and globally benchmarked.
