Our Mission:
Redefining Sports Education
Our Mission
Empowering sports professionals with market-ready skills in Sports Management, Physical Education, and Gen AI — aligned with NEP 2020 standards.
Our Vision
Building a globally connected, research-driven sports education ecosystem with future-ready skills and real-world impact.
From Grassroots to Global
Sportal began in 2013 as a passion project between three friends, built on one conviction: physical education deserves the same academic rigour as any other discipline. The early work was hands-on, in schools and grassroots PE programmes. COVID forced the pivot — under Dr. Gaurav Pant, Sportal moved online, and by 2021 was teaching 2,500 students across 24 countries. Today it runs 15+ certified programmes, has trained 4,700+ professionals, builds AI into NEP 2020-aligned curricula, and partners with universities in India and Indonesia.
The IMPACT Campus is Mind Power University
Most private sports programmes in India are taught in a rented building and awarded by a university the student never sets foot in. Ours is not. The Sportal IMPACT Campus is the campus of Mind Power University at Bhimtal — the same university that awards the degree. You study where your degree comes from.
Mind Power University is a State Private University established by the Mind Power University Act, 2024 of Uttarakhand and recognised by the UGC. Its campus is at Bohrakoon, Bhimtal, in Nainital district — a lake town in the Kumaon hills, about an hour from Kathgodam and the nearest railhead. Alongside our programmes it runs Schools of Commerce & Management, Engineering & Technology, Allied Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Skill & Vocational Studies, Pharmaceutical Science and Law, so you share a campus with students from seven other faculties rather than only your own cohort.
Two things we would rather you heard from us than found out later. The university was established in 2024, so it is new — what it is not is unrecognised, and the UGC listing is the thing to check, not the founding date. And our first degree intake is the 2027 academic year, so there is no cohort on campus yet to tell you what it is like. Ask us anything specific and we will answer it straight.
