B.Sc. in Golf Performance and Coaching
Next intake: Academic Year 2027A three-year, golf-specific undergraduate degree, awarded by Mind Power University, Bhimtal and taught at the Sportal IMPACT campus, in partnership with Axiom, Netherlands. It is open after Class 12 in any stream, with the first intake in Academic Year 2027.
Golf in India is small but it is professionalising, and it is one of the few sports here where the coaching, club and academy roles are paid properly. This degree is built for those roles rather than for a playing career — which almost nobody makes, in golf as in every other sport.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who awards the B.Sc. in Golf Performance and Coaching?
Mind Power University, Bhimtal — a UGC-recognised State Private University established by the MPU Act 2024 of Uttarakhand. Teaching is at the Sportal IMPACT campus, which is the university campus at Bhimtal, Nainital district. The programme is run in partnership with Axiom, Netherlands.
Do I need to already play golf?
Eligibility is 10+2 in any stream. A playing background helps on a coaching programme in the way it helps in any sport, but the entry requirement is the Class 12 qualification. Ask us directly about your own situation rather than assuming either way.
What does the fee actually cover?
For Indian students, ₹2,50,000 a year is the programme fee, exclusive of admission charges and residential costs. For international students, EUR 12,000 a year is inclusive of admission, tuition, accommodation and meals.
How long is the B.Sc.?
Three years. Worth knowing: our B.P.E.S. and B.S.M. are four-year NEP 2020 degrees with an Honours and research year, and a four-year degree is what opens the accelerated one-year master’s route. A three-year degree does not. If a master’s is part of your plan, ask us how that works before you choose.
When does it start?
The first intake is Academic Year 2027, the same as our other degree programmes.
